Pa Thao has served as the Executive Director of Learning and Teaching since 2024. Previously, she was the Director of Elementary Education for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools from 2019-2024 and a literacy specialist from 2017 to 2019. She also has experience as an adjunct instructor at Central Piedmont Community College and UNC-Charlotte. Pa earned her Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Gardner-Webb University, a Master of Education in Reading Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and her Add-On Licensure in School Administration from Wingate University.
