Bridgette Green
Dr. Bridgette Brown-Green is the Director of Program Implementation for SchoolKit. She previously served as the Director of Teaching and Learning for Caddo Parish Public Schools, which has 59 schools and serves 33,500 students. Caddo has been on its journey implementing high-quality instructional materials since 2015. Bridgette’s particular area of focus has been with principal development and instructional coaching. She is passionate about the need for curriculum-based professional learning, particularly in support of foundational reading skills to help teachers in their acceleration efforts as we address the unfinished learning resulting from the global pandemic.
Bridgette has over 16 years’ experience in education. She began her career as a high school English teacher prior to moving into school leadership. As an educational leader, she has held positions as assistant principal, principal, consultant to the Louisiana Department of Education, and an Executive Master Teacher with the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching (NIET).
Bridgette earned her Master’s in Educational Leadership from Louisiana State University-Shreveport and her Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Louisiana-Monroe.
