Monique Debi is the Chief Academic Officer for Concentric Educational Solutions.

Previously, Monique served as Director of Literacy for Baltimore City Public Schools, a position she assumed smack dab in the idle of the pandemic (January 2021). During her previous 14 years with City Schools, Monique served as principal of a large (over 820 students) K-8 school; assistant principal of another combined K-8 school that housed the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme and became the 2nd highest performing school in the district while she was there; and a principal resident at a PreK-5 school as part of New Leader’s Aspiring Principal Program. Her teaching experience, including a residency as part of the Baltimore Teaching Residency run by TNTP, spans grades 3-8 and includes middle school social studies. She has also helped facilitate system-wide professional development in social studies.

Monique has received numerous recognitions, including the 2020 Heart of the Schools Award given by the Fund for Educational Excellence. She holds a B.A. in History from Morgan State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in Elementary Education from Johns Hopkins University. Monique is currently a doctoral candidate at Walden University.
