Anne-Lauren Marrs

Anne-Lauren Marrs is the Director of Reading Language Arts in Dallas ISD. Before serving as Director, Anne-Lauren served as a middle and high school RLA teacher, campus and district instructional coach, high school assistant principal, and most recently as the RLA Manager in Dallas ISD. Each of her roles have been in service of students at Title I campuses. She is passionate about building literacy for all students through collective teacher efficacy, a focus on equity, and rigorous grade-level instruction. Anne-Lauren received her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Lamar University and her B.A. in English Literature from University of North Texas. Outside of work, Ms. Marrs enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her sons, Luke and Judd. Her favorite genre to read is historical fiction.
