Brittany Avent is the Director of Career Technical Education and PLC Support for Haywood County Schools. Previously, she has served as the Haywood High School Principal from 2020 to 2023. Prior to that, she was Haywood County’s Director of Secondary and Career Technical Education from 2018 to 2020. Brittany’s teaching experience includes Algebra I, Algebra II, and Horticultural Sciences at Bolivar Central and Ripley High School, respectively.
Brittany graduated from Bolivar Central High School and has a bachelor’s degree from University of Tennessee at Martin and a Master of Science in Education from Arkansas State University.
