Dr. Brittney Bills is an Elementary Principal at Blair Community Schools. Previously, she served as Elementary ELA & Academic MTSS Coordinator for Grand Island Public Schools, where she coordinates the Elementary ELA curriculum and MTSS Academics for PK – 12.

She is a trained LETRS facilitator and adjunct professor for Doane University. Dr. Bills received her Doctorate Degree in Education Leadership from the University of Nebraska in Omaha and her dissertation focus was on investigating the interrelationship between teacher knowledge, beliefs and practices in early literacy. She serves as a Board Member for the Nebraska Dyslexia Association and is the founder of Nebraska’s Science of Reading – What I Should Have Learned in College Facebook Learning Community. Brittney has been recognized for her work in literacy and MTSS by being named a LETRS Literacy Champion, an Amplifying Your District Science of Reading Star Award Recipient and she has been featured on Amplify’s Science of Reading podcast.
