Charlie Webb is the former Coordinator of Instructional Programs, Elementary Math, for Appoquinimink School District in Delaware. She worked in the district since February 2012, beginning as a Pre-K -Gr. 12 Math Specialist. Prior to that, Charlie worked in the Colonial School District where she was the 2008 district Teacher of the Year. She was an 8th grade math teacher at McCullough Middle School, a 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade dually-certified teacher at Southern Elementary, Delaware City and Commodore McDonough Elementary Schools. She taught children in small group, inclusion, and the single approach method (SAM classroom).

Charlie has participated in work with Smarter Balanced; including baseline scoring and creating Teacher Tools; and accelerating learning for high school using Number Talks with Achieve the Core. She co-presented at an International Conference on Immersion and Dual Language Education in February 2018. She has been the president of The Delaware Math Coalition for the past five years. Most recently, Charlie was a recipient of the University of Delaware’s Webber Award.
