Meg Knapik has been an educator for 18 years, and she is currently the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction in West Northfield District 31. Prior to this role, Meg has served educators and students in varying capacities as a Director of Curriculum and Instruction, PreK – 8 grade Math Coordinator and Specialist, Middle School Assistant Principal, and middle school teacher. Meg is passionate about empowering teachers to provide authentic, student-centered learning experiences which allow students to better understand the world around them. She has served as an adjunct professor at Judson University in Elgin, IL, and a guest lecturer at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Meg is also a published author, an avid traveler, and a mother of two young learners, a 7 year old and a 5 year old.

Meg earned a MEd from National Louis University in Curriculum and Instruction and a MEd from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign in Education Policy & Organization Leadership. She also holds a BSE from Miami University (OH).
