Dr. Michele L. Whitley has been a building and district administrator in Saratoga Springs City Schools since 2018, serving prior to that as a principal and School District Administrator for ELA & APPR in Mohonasen Central Schools from 2007-2018. Her first administrative experience was in Ballston Spa Central Schools as an Assistant Principal for Instruction from 2003-2007. Michele’s teaching experience includes 5th grade, 3rd grade, and AIS reading.

Michele attended SUNY Oswego and earned a bachelor’s in Elementary Education, then a master’s degree in Literacy from The College of St. Rose, followed by completing a master’s degree in educational administration from SUNY Albany, and a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Russell Sage College. She has recently completed the SUNY Oswego Superintendent Development program. Michele is a proud mom of three boys and an education advocate for all children.
